How We Work Together

At Civil CFO, most of our operations and internal roles are based in Dallas, while many client-facing roles are remote with required travel. We work closely across locations with a tight operating rhythm and clear ownership so everyone knows what “winning” looks like.

If there’s a potential fit, you’ll speak with one or more team members. This is not a scripted HR screen. We’re testing for judgment, communication, humility, and culture fit. We’ll talk about how you make decisions, how you’ve handled conflict, how you receive feedback, and what you’re looking for in this season of your career. In later conversations, you’ll meet leaders who will be honest about expectations: pace, accountability, and our culture.

We want to see how you think, how you structure problems, and how you communicate your reasoning. This is less about being perfect and more about clarity, rigor, and teachability. We review this together with your interviews to decide if there’s a mutual fit.
